How often should I see a doctor after surgery?
Postoperative visits are specific and relate to regular follow-ups regardless of the type of surgery. They aim at absolute safety and a smooth transition to a completely normal life, free from the unnecessary weight.
The program of visits includes 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, 24 months postoperatively.
This is followed by an annual check-up (3 years, 4 years, etc.).
All visits include blood tests, clinical examinations, dietary examinations, and if the patient wishes, psychological support by joining groups that aim to exchange views – experiences and help with queries by the group, under discreet supervision which is for the sole purpose of preventing the adoption – misinterpretation of recommendations or instructions.
